Keep your enemies closer - The end of my freeper feud next door!

Not everybody here knows the story of my freeper neighbor and the sign war.

Bout 2 months ago my next door neighbor... bushite from hell, decided my STOP THE WAR signs in my yard were detracting from the neighborhood. (as if this shack I live in doesn't?????) but I digress..

Anyway, my signs got more and more liberal until she just glared at me.

So I'm having a yard sale today... wearing my NO WAR armband on my ankle she says "you're really serious about all that no war stuff aren't you?"

So we had a very intelligent conversation about me trying to save the life of my 18 yr old son and the lives of the rest of these kids, and I made it personal with her and her 16 yr old granddaughter.

She listened, she really listened. We talked for 45 minutes.

So I says, Beverly, why do you still support Bush? She thinks on it and says, well the bastard hasn't done anything right in a long time, has he?. I guess I just do because I'm used to it but maybe I really shouldn't be. (SCORE) Then grumble grumble well I am not supporting some goddamn democrat.

(kynd swoooooops in for the kill)

I says, Bev, you don't have to. I get that you are a life long republican, but don't you know that Bush is not that Republican party that you supported for the last 50 years? (loses 15 minutes of back when I was younger stories) CRAP.

Ok back on topic, Bev. Do you think Iraq had anything to do with 9/11, Bev says well shit no. Everybody knows that. (whew)

Then she lauches into boogie man terrorist stories.. Here we are sitting damn near on main street USA in a tiny town that nobodies ever heard of... I said, you seen one lately? Where, Central Market? Norby's? White Drug?

She laughes and says, well no. So I say, then WHY are you scared? Not a thing has happened to any of us that Bush didn't cause - the war - that has had one thing to do with a terrorist?

Bev says, well I think I'll take in the Minneapolis paper (Star Trib Ultra Lib) again, they seem to say the same things you are.

Look at how lucky we are to have David Brock on our side... former conservatives can become our strongest liberal allies if they have an attack of conscience or if they simply acknowledge to themselves that they were being lied to all those years.

After all it really disrupts the programing of the freeper types and can perhaps cause permanent damage to the programing process by creating independent thinking. Please be careful!
