Half of U.S. still believes Iraq had WMD
-Seattle Post Intelligencer

http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/national/1110ap_iraq_believing_wmd.html

Lots of rewards in this piece. Here's just one snip;

<The facts are that Iraq - after a four-year hiatus in cooperating with inspections - acceded to the U.N. Security Council's demand and allowed scores of experts to conduct more than 700 inspections of potential weapons sites from Nov. 27, 2002, to March 16, 2003. The inspectors said they could wrap up their work within months. Instead, the U.S. invasion aborted that work.

As recently as May 27, Bush told West Point graduates, "When the United Nations Security Council gave him one final chance to disclose and disarm, or face serious consequences, he refused to take that final opportunity.">

1. I hear freep-types claim they were moved to Syria
No credible evidence to back that up and it contradicts Whitehouse claims made about the locations in 2003. But just for the sake of argument, suppose it was true - "What did the war accomplish?" are we safer if WMDs are in Syria? If we invade Syria and again we find nothing, do we assume they were moved again and keep invading until we think they are in Canada? Is that the plan?

2. The shell gamers are just waiting for the Republican convention
to return to New York.
They must've seen some pretty tall grass with those fools coursing the streets.

4. I took a Zogby poll yesterday, and one of the questions was that did I bel
believe Iraq had WMD when the war started. I don't know when the results of the poll are released.
