Check out the photos - - Repuke throws chair during debate
Considering how much republicans love war and killing/torturing people, I guess this kind response shouldn't be too surprising.

Poor widdle baby . . . such an embarrassing failure in debate, he storms off the set and resorts to violence :eyes:
----------------------------------------------------

A political debate on a Tampa television station spun out of control on Saturday and ended with one guest throwing a chair at the other.

Two men were debating Israel when things got heated. They began trading insults.

As the moderator tried to calm things down, one of the men stormed off the set.

That's when he threw a chair at his opponent from somewhere, off-camera.

The man who threw the chair is Tony Katz, a Republican and the host of an Internet talk show.

The man hit by the chair is Joe Redner, a Democrat running for a county commission seat.

Redner said he had some swelling after being hit by the chair, but no major injuries. He said he will not press charges.

3. For one is not really a Democrat but what ever you do
do not bring up religion when talking to him  But he did go to a Church on his campaign this time...

If you are at work do not click on this link of his "office" http://www.monsvenus.com/ :)

He is always taking his dancers to protest against a crazy fundie that is on the Hillsborough County Commissioners.

45. I love Joe.. He's one of the smartest, charitable men I've ever known
in my life.. Down here in Tampa you either love him or hate him, and I love him.. He's always standing up for any and everyone's rights, and he's not afraid of anyone or anything..

Name calling is petty and juvenile, yes.

Throwing chairs at people's faces is dangerous.

And if the Republican is that sensitive about his weight, maybe he should consider going on a diet.

Just sayin'

17. I agree. What a bunch of juvenile crap. The guy who threw the chair should
have never done so and resorted to violence and should be charged, but the other jerk, Redner, would NEVER get a vote from me for anything. He resorted to childish name-calling because he must not have been able to debate without doing so. That is a sign of a weak person and he should be ashamed as well.

19. That's fine, but the point of this post was not to defend the Redner's
silly comments about the guy's weight.

It was to point out that just one; only one of them grabbed a dangerous object and hurled it (another family value example from the right)

The point is not whom you'd vote for, although you're certainly entitled to your opinion.

24. My voting comment was based on the OP photos. It doesn't say
anything about the other guy running for anything, but I wouldn't vote for him either if he's running. This would be one I would have to sit out or find another candidate. I'd probably write in Bozo the Clown because he would probably behave more like an adult.

I expect stupid behavior from repukes, but I expect us to be better than they are and this guy, Redner, was a complete jerk. I am more disappointed in him than I am the typical asshole behavior of the repuke.

27. You might wanna consider changing your peace sign avatar if you
condone violence.

I mean talk about irony.

FYI, there's no justification for throwing an object like that at someone's head for simply being called a name.

That's so second grade.

50. Regrettably yes
when I moved here - because I had a close friend here who encouraged me to - I thought mistakenly that there were enough transplants here to make this state tolerable - however it really isn't except for the great weather - and being close to the ocean - the rest is too much to take - for instance a church down the street from me yesterday was offering free car wash - free drinks and free Bibles - and there were actually people on the side of the road beckoning us in - I WANTED TO STOP AND SCREAM at them - but of course didn't because one of them might have shot me - and oh yes I am on the board of our HOA and some lovely gentleman actually threatened to shoot the board memebers in the ass

BTW the friend that encouraged me to move here - moved about three weeks ago leaving me mostly alone in this GOD FORESAKEN HELL HOLE.

Yes, just remember when the rest of the country starts freezing its ass off in a few months, you'll be comfortable.....on/near the beach.....reading your free bible! ;)

I always try to think of the positives when there's another freeway/road rage shooting here in Calif.!
