3. They'll just do it in the open - no need to sneak or be secretive
They are so intoxicated with the breadth of their own power that they no longer need to "hide" their deeds. If called out, they'll just say that the laws need to change to reflect the "new reality".

Too bad they are also manufacturing the new reality, too.

These people need to be thrown out soon or we will never get them out. Time is coming for a national strike to at least signal to the rest of world that most of the American people are not sheeple! We know that our currant administration is not fit to govern. Need to march with our brooms to "sweep" them out of office.
