Bush live on CNN here now. He's cracking up, come on!
He's insane. Study this guy's demeanor and language, his body language and every move of his eyes. He's totally defensive, even the journos are being very polite with their q's. Too polite, in my view.
Then when he answers, he just babbles something that's remotely connected to the topic asked. He lists lists of what they've done. Adds some well known slogans. All while having this terrified look on his face.

Some of his less sucessful phrases:

'America is on the offense'

'If an Israeli soldier is shot by an Israeli, he has the right to defend himself.'

OK. Now we know, Bush. Your'e a little man, and it was only partly a play.

Is this aired in the US?

Almost a sneer on his face ... Doesn't anyone ever play him tapes of his performances so that he'd see how ASSININE he appears? Or doesn't he care (and if not, WHY)?

14. He's afraid most of all, of one thing
That we should laugh of him, make fun of him. That's the dictator's highest fear. Imagine one of the journos saying 'Will you get the fuck out of my face, you are a loser, you have destroyed my country. You're ridiculous!'
Imagine the other taking the cue. Calling his game and just being real rude.
He'd have broken down even before they could haul him away.

Any "normal" human being who saw tapes of his fumbling performances would have the "good sense" to realize he's a fucking failure, but nooooooo, ole BattleAxe made sure her "boy" grew up with a strong sense of self, even when it's NOT WARRANTED.

even then a "normal person" would recognize when they were coming across poorly. You have to be totally, absolutely, completely devoid of sanity...totally insane as Bush is to think you look good.

The corporate Lobby has illegally inflicted upon us a person who is certifiable and told him that he is POTUS, and he is crazy enough to believe it.

67. Mr. Jeff: the reply was sarcasm and implied that Bush is too
filled with entitlement (sense of self) to recognize weaknesses in his appearances. It did not represent a sense of strength. You would have to re-read the past 4-5 posts in the thread.
It was not meant to be complimentary to Bush in the least.

Your response does rightly point out that we all see this man with different perceptions.

The "hard work" debate where he made an absolute fool of himself? Karen Hughes or someone on his staff forced him to watch a replay and he finally agreed it wasn't a good performance.

So, I don't think he realizes how bad he is unless someone calls him on it, and hardly anyone would dare. No one wants to be the one to tell him bad news.

22. Does blowing up frogs with firecrackers count?
Shooting frogs with BB guns was apparently pretty standard entertainment for young boys in Texas in the 1950s. But for added amusement, George W. Bush and his friends used to tuck firecrackers into the mouths of frogs, throw them in the air, and watch them explode.

The story — recounted with fondness by a Bush childhood friend in a long, flattering New York Times profile of Bush during the 2000 presidential election campaign — never became an issue on the campaign trail.

Despite psychiatric evidence that children who are cruel to animals often go on to be abusive adults, the U.S. media apparently decided that the torture of frogs was nothing more than a charming little anecdote from Dubya's early years. (Imagine what the media would make of a charming little childhood anecdote like that, if it were in Saddam Hussein's background.)

It should have at least been a clue that Bush — now the most powerful man in the world — has a taste for blowing things up, not to mention an insensitivity to suffering.

But regardless of where it happened, you're right, Bush always got special treatment.

Consider how his DUI record was erased by having a new driver's license issued, his drug possession charges were worked out with a little community service and the details of his failure to perform his Nat'l Guard duty, well we all know how that was hidden.

I cringe every time I hear Bush use the word "democracy" and I finally figured out why. "Democracy" in Bushspeak is actually a code word for "capitalism," and laissez-faire robber baron capitalism at that. It doesn't actually mean DEMOCRACY, in the normal definition of the word.

Raise your voice & pitch so you sound defensive regardless of your intent. Throw out some random whining for symrathy's sake (hey! You never know!)

Talk fast and repeat repeat repeat, then SLOOOW DOOOOWN, o. ver. ee. nun. cee. ate. & pretend you're revealing something worthwhile(crucial info, your personal thoughts or feelings...whatever balony bubbbles up will do)then WHAMMO! assume a conspiratorial, preferably hushed tone, pause, and REPEAT the same crap you already repeated.

Tears are helpful sometimes. Stomping, not so much. Arm flapping okay in small doses.

The response to all this if it goes full bore is, of course, early bedtime.

56. Has anyone else noticed that Bush rarely makes the news at night?
Typically there will be a reporter doing a voice over about what Bush said at a press conference or speech, rarely there is a short clip of Bush actually speaking. When will the MSM dare to tell the people what's going on?
