I need to make lunch plans, and I'm wondering how crowded Lucia's is going to be. Will I need reservations?

1. You should time it so that...
you can stuff yourself full of all kinds of food, expensive booze etc. and be raptured before the bill comes. :D

17. Couldn't you risk endangering your rapturing status?

I have to go to work at 1:00. If the Rapture's happening today, I might as well blow it off.

10. Any Christians that drive shold be arrested for reckless endangerment
If they really believe that the rapture will come and they will be instantly whisked away, that is leaving a speeding car unatended and means that they WILLINGLY are putting others at risk.

ARREST THEM NOW!!!

14. No, No, No. You aren't thinking it out. Why take a pick of abandoned
and used cars on the side of the road? Go to the local dealership with your bible and start preaching to the sales people. Then when they are raptured away, you have a lot full of nice new cars and you get to pick out the color and options that you want. Plus you get that wonderful new car smell.

27. It would take more than a little preaching to get most
car salesmen I know to be taken in the rapture.

26. The Rapture is probably on a staggered schedule like Network TV.
"Rapture scheduled for 8 PM Eastern and Pacific, 7 PM Central."

Mountain time zone, Arizona, and Indiana, you're on your own for scheduling.

23. Dang, I forgot my camera ... all the looks on the faces of the people
with the bumper stickers "If the Rapture comes, grab my steering wheel" as they walk around in a daze wondering where all their liberal friends disappeared to ...

priceless ... of course, I'd probably be able to get a digital camera on credit ... but I'd have to pay the bill ... you know, all the money-changers would not have been swept up during the Rapture ...
