Restive GOP Activists May Stage Revolt

Conservatives threaten to withhold support of Schwarzenegger's reelection bid if he doesn't fire a key aide who is a Democrat.

"We've gotten to the point where we've just had it with the guy," said Michael Schroeder, an attorney from Corona del Mar and a former chairman of the California Republican Party. "It's become clear that he's no longer pursuing a Republican agenda."

Party members said they resent Schwarzenegger's recent efforts to woo Democrats and that he is appointing too many of them to judgeships. They also dislike his plans to borrow $68 billion for a sweeping public works program, and say that his state budget is fraught with spending that California cannot afford.

What absolute bullshit!!!

The republicans will positively endorse Musclehead, he's their future and
they know it and Musclehead knows it... It's a great smokescreen, and Arnold loves it, because there is no way in hell he ever plans to implement the multi-billion dollar public works plan, just get himself reelected and watch it fade and never talked about again...Its all image and complete bullshit....this republican denunciation is
exactly what Arnold was seeking, to fool the idiot democrats and fucking
moderates...if he planned it himself, (which I don't doubt), it couldn't go any better for him!!!

You want proof? Just open and read the link!

Its the same old usual republican tactics, they used it to get Arnold elected last time, pretend Arnold is a moderate, almost a democrat...and so many democrats and moderates keep falling for it...And after the elections... just like (Rove) did with Bush, pretend Bush was really a moderate, until after the election...Then it's back to the same old ugly republican ideology & agenda!!!

2. But, I thought Arnold's dad was a member of the SS and not a moderate?
Sorry for being glib but you're right on the political spin game,
he just hired *ush's reelection campaign manager so there is no surprise on who running the show.

And yes his dad was a member of the SS.
