Question about Bush`s policy......Point----Say "terrorist"---- Kill.

Sorry to bring this up, but is there any chance we could ask Congress to get a commission together to study the feasibility of oversight? No rush, but if we`re going to kill and maim thousands of humans and saddle our great grandchildren with enormous Iraq War debt, shouldn`t someone be overseeing this plan?

Just the sight of blood dripping from Cheney`s fangs makes me think we ought to hear a couple other viewpoints. And, with our AWOL Commander throwing the word "terrorists" around like they`re as common as grains of sand on a beach, I`d kind of like a little group to gather and do some defining. Exactly who is a terrorist? Do they "hate us for our freedoms" or could our empire-seeking policies be a teeny part of the problem? I`m not trying to start trouble on this pleasant, peaceful Sunday, I`m simply tring to figure out the terror part in a child`s death or a hospital explosion. Just saying "Oops" seems kind of shallow.

Dubya might be pretending he got a lead role in a John Wayne movie. Maybe his Respect Fantasy has him gussied up in leather chaps and blasting into a saloon with his six-gun flaming. Maybe he`s Lance Armstrong in a George suit or maybe his pretend military record is a foot thick with courage stars. Wish I could explain it in some kind of a Leave It to Beaver way so I could erase my fright from Bush`s cluster bombs, torture labs and itchy trigger fingers.

Maybe the same group that got the Hair Gel Overseers together could present a flip chart to Congress outlining Steps to Proper Oversight. C-Span could cover it and we could all call in after and express our approval, except for Liberals who would be too busy aiding the enemy and destroying civilization.
