15. Don't forget this too.
The 14 dead astronauts.

The dead Ford Explorer drivers.

The dead Vioxx and other prescription drug users.

The fleeced Enron investors and pensioners and some of those who committed suicide.

The dead seniors who fell into the Medicare Part D coverage gap.

4. Correction to attribution
The dissent/patriotism quote is not Jefferson, it's Zinn.

12. Seen most of 'em.... and some of them are mine. LOL
They're all wonderful -- but they've all been done.

"Annoy a Conservative - Think for Yourself!" has been my top seller for more than two and a half years (and, like "The Christian Right is Neither," has been ripped off repeatedly).

"Religious Fundamentalism: A Threat Abroad, A Threat at Home" is the brainchild of DU's very own impeachdubya.

"Blind Faith in Bad Leadership is Not Patriotism" comes from another one my favorite designers, who goes by the handle "Products for the Liberal Weenie".

"Of Course it Hurts - You're Getting Screwed by an Elephant" is from a guy lucky enough to grab the shop name of simply "Left".

"Stop Mad Cowboy Disease" belongs to (you guessed it) the Stop Mad Cowboy Shop (and that poor guy is getting ripped off by imitators now, too).

I strongly suggest that if anyone is planning to create their own bumper stickers, you make sure they don't exist already. There's nothing more discouraging than coming up with a brilliant slogan, and seeing somebody undercut your sales with a copy (especially when some of us depend on the meager income we get from designing this stuff).

Here, search for the slogans in your list in my database:

No, I'm really not trying to plug my site -- it just bugs the crap out of me to see great bumper stickers appropriated without credit.

share them here. I'm sorry it bugs the crap out of you. I'm perfectly ok with sharing them.

14. I'm not ragging on you, I_T.
There are LOTS of lists like this floating around, and I blame whoever decided to appropriate them in the first place.

I get just as irked when sites lift huge chunks of my Conservative Babylon articles without so much as a credit, let alone a link.
