Can we have the November elections now? PLEASE!
Can we start early voting now and get it over and done with, without using no Diebold machines?

I get the feeling something ugly might happen between now and November?

1. Absentee Ballots
You can check with your Board of Elections and start whenever they say you can...

3. Can we all get absentee ballots?
Are absentee ballots going to be counted on Diebold machines?

5. Why not?
Since they are paper, mail in ballots (in many cases), I don't think they would be counted on a Diebold machine.

2. I've thought and thought about this.
On the Monday before the election the terror alert will be raised to red. Homeland security will announce early that morning that 25 middle-eastern men have been arrested in connection with a plot to bomb 10 major US cities. However, Prez Bush says "the elections will go forward, oh, and vote republican to keep you safe!"
Will it work?

elections on election day..

remember they have a tab on how you are registered so they can estimate how much they have to steal an election by how many absentee ballots they send out and how many they recieve back..and who is getting more of them and by what percentage.

and remember not all states count absentee ballots equally..find out how your absentee ballots are counted..some places only count them if an election is close..

you could be throwing your vote away ..if you live in a state that does that!!

do not assume anything..call your local DNC and supervisor of elections office and ask questions how absentee ballots are counted and how your vote is registered!

if you mail it in..call the supervisors of elections office a few days later and ask if your vote was registered...some states are throwing them away if there is any question of signatures( a real gop gimmick)..if your vote was thrown away because of signature ask if you can get another absnetee ballots and go directly to the Supervisors office and redo your absentee ballot ..if that is legal where you live.

do not assume when you mail in an absentee ballot that it will be counted..make sure it is by following up on it!

10. oh, blah, everyone trotted out that scenario last election, and it
just did not happen, and won't this time either. Neither will martial law, or anything else the freeps would be saying if they were in our position

15. But the bushies have never been this desperate.
I hope it doesn't happen, but then Karl Rove is stark-ravin' loony.

16. My understanding is voting absentee is not the solution
I think they are often counted last and may not get counted at all - also they can be optical scan type ballots and can go through the machines. I don't know what the answer is I wish the Dems would run parallel elections in key races - well worth the expense to prove any hanky panky.
