close the borders
mass deportations
mass arrests

etc. etc. all offered as solutions for illegal immigrations. that's my point.

If enough people started openly breaking some law, then would you automatically oppose enforcement of that law regardless of what law it is?

Suppose some people say that some shopkeepers are putting them out of business with their unfairly competitive low prices or straining their budgets with their unfairly high prices. Would you allow mobs to smash the windows and loot from the shops or would you send in troops and/or police?
