Poll question: Help me trying to judge the "financial reasons" for letting Mike go
If Mike was let go for financial reasons, I'm curious to find out which financial reasons that may be.
So I assume for the sake of this poll that the DU represents the typical AAR audience, and would very much appreciate if you took part in this poll.

Financial reasons = money.
Money in radio comes from ads.
Ads cost money depending on the number of listeners (via airwave, not the net).

Me, I have been listening to mike since 2001 for almost every day which makes me the weirdest belgian in some sense I guess. He kept me sane and made me feel not alone in my rage. I also have to say I streamed his show from white rose society, and expect many did. I never heard many ads as opposed to when you tune in via airamerica streamlive or via airwave (I imagine)

I have to add that his way to say all republicans are to be hated was not something I agreed with - I don't believe in black and white reasoning and demonising the other party. A good debate has two sides at least.

But he was and is a breath of fresh air.

So I wonder : what was the case for you? Did you hear many ads?

1. No AA radio station in my neck of the woods. I had to listen
to Malloy over the internet. When I couldn't listen to him live, I downloaded his shows.

3. I enjoy Al Franken. Malloy isn't really entertaining to me.
