Do you folks get it yet?

If I'm a corporation and I'm spending $100 to advocate my position, I'm giving AT LEAST $100 to the opposition to not oppose my position. Check the FEC database, you'll see that's true.

Mike Malloy didn't play those games. He knew his days on Air America were limited. Maybe he thought he would be given more warning on the exact day, but he knew the ax was coming.

So now we'll get programming that will emphasize Bush's incompetence. And when the next big terror attack comes, after a respectable amount of time, we'll hear how "Bush didn't protect us." But I can pretty much guarantee NO ONE will tell us that Bush (or more accurately, the people who pull Bush's strings) did it - no matter how much evidence turns up. Mike would have - that's why he's gone.

He took a stronger stand than others on Air America, but he was hardly the only source of information. Its all over the place.

This is the thing some people don't get , it was not that he was the first stop to all the information , being on late night most of the latest info was out there . What Mike did was bring it all to a human level and related and expressed the anger many of us felt . Mike always said his was not a show for answers but a show like the corner bar where anyone could join in after a long day and relate and vent . He blended this with facts and dark humor like an artist .

Many of us will stand up for Mike to the end , I know I will . What we need in this world is more truth and honesty spoken from the heart not more information of the cold operation of the corporate machine . We all know how that works , all one needs is a job , any job will do to understand that concept and to go home and puke .
