Mike announced a couple of weeks ago, that he and Kathy had just signed a new two year contract with Air Amerika Radio. And... that he was gonna go back live in New York City, where he had been voted best radio talk show host just before getting axed from the very station carrying AAR in NYC that earned him that award!

So, Ass Amerika Radio... you've just done, what the right couldn't EVER do. You just lost one of your biggest supporters, and free advertisers.

And "suits"... Just because you earned an MBA, doesn't mean you know shit about the real world. Thanks once again for proving it! Left of the dial my ass.

P.S... Michael... Kathy... the ONLY nice thing I can say to you about this, is that you must have frightened some really "powerful" people. And for that, I hope you feel some pride, and know that you have my eternal gratitude for who you are, and what you've done.

I remember Mike saying that they didn't carry his show in New York, even though that was the flagship station, and that they were going to start carrying it when they moved to 1600. Is it possible there was someone who just didn't like Mike at AAR and found a way to dump him altogether?

Do you think maybe Rove has got some control over AAR? Or maybe there's some kind of mole working for them?

As I said earlier, I stopped listening when they axed Marc Maron, who I think is absolutely brilliant. Why did they do that? What is going on there? Could it be that the other guys really control ALL THE MEDIA?

He has quite a following, and had supposedly already spoken to him about the two year contract.

What also drives me bat-shit nuts, is that I run to the computer right after watching KO's beautiful flambe of Rummy. I just cannot wait to see what you all are saying, and I'm wondering what the "suits" at NBC must be thinking.

Cause, at first, the rumor was that Sam was going to replace Springer. But maybe Springer has money in the station or something, because he definitely has the money, so that he refused to be fired. (Of course, this is purely speculation.) And then when they discovered they could not put Sam where Springer was, they fired Malloy?

I'm really pissed at AAR too! If they think keeping Malloy was a financial loss, they need to re-think that one quickly, because now they lost me completely!
