The English language, that is.
Don't misunderestimate Bush Lite, he hasn't let up a bit.
While with my sister and brother-in-law yesterday, they replayed me an interview of Bush with Brian Williams. Williams is Republican-friendly, but even he must have had a hard time keeping a straight face. Any Brits will love this, even if their beloved Queen's English has been the victim of assault with intent to kill. Williams was asking about what Bush had read this summer. Bush mentioned reading Kamoo. Kamoo? I wondered if this was some obscure Pakistani author, or maybe some new Australian Aboriginal literary hotshot. It turns out he meant Albert Camus, the French (oh, sorry, Freedom) existentialist. Bush then explained he had quite an ecolectic reading list. I promise I am not making this up. We have it on tape. We played that one back twice to make sure we had heard correctly. Yup, an ecolectic reading list. Ecologically epileptic? Ectoplasmically apoplectic? Whatever it was, the man with his finger on the button is now reading an ecolectic selection of books. You know, as in "diverse literatory material."
"Where seldom is heard " A three syllable word "Or if so, then it's one I can say."
