The Bush/Cheney Butcher’s Bill: Officially, 60 US Military Deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan from 1 August 2006 - 28 August 2006- Official Total of 2,821 US dead to date (and rising)

The actual total of dead American military personnel is now over 12,000 and also rising and the number of seriously wounded is now ca 25,000

3. Please read this thread:

Iraq Coalition Casualty Count; NO we're NOT missing "thousands" of US dead

I'm sorry, I just don't see how it would be possible to hide that many dead.

4. I'm not disagreeing, just throwing one more point of view out there.
Why should I take ICCC any more seriously than I do anyone else? I take in as much as I can and let my brain sort it out. It seems entirely reasonable to me that the DoD would manipulate the numbers of dead to pacify a cranky populace. In fact, it in keeping with the way they operate. Whatever the real number, its more than the DoD is letting on.

5. Right now I am reading the one on the site but BUT I wonder
So much of what has been said turns out to be un-true that my mind said to me do not believe them. My husband was in the service and in hospitals and often what was going on was not out for the public to see and count. This was years ago but I tend to think of the military as always keeping things to its self. The final total of deaths seems to always go up in the years after the war than what we hear as the war goes on. Bush and the DOD can not let this get to be a Vietnam thing even if we are slowly moving to wards the people wanting the men out of these countries. It really was not fast in Vietnam or Korea by the way. It built up over years of death and wounded coming home. Hardly any point to these wars either.

2. Even using the official total,
if you combine it with the number of Iraqi dead, Bush is responsible for more deaths than the attack on 9/11!
