Ways the universe can kill you in a totalitarian state

I don't have many really bad nightmares but I just had a doozy last night and I'm still shaky. 20/20 had a program on ways the universe can kill you last night, and then there was Rummy and the 3rd Reich out in force, and all the chasing of baby rapers and killers the media has been doing lately. Well this all came together for me in a cosmic dream event last night complete with the effects of wandering black holes, gamma ray pulses, yellow journalism, and targetting of one person by a terrorist state on the human being. There I was--one small human trying to protect an infant from the universe and the state, both of which had an interest that child's death--a child that would save the world from us all. No matter how hard I tried to secret the child to safety, there was a media outlet of one stripe or another available to broadcast every diaper change and burp on megascreens to the world. Meanwhile, the ozone was visibily disappearing and the sky was changing before our eyes. But the advertisers just kept the sales brochures and big full page, full color sales ads filling the papers and the screens of the nation. The chimneys belched smoke and chemicals and every one was driving tanks with hairtriggers on their turrets on clogged and endless 16 lane asphalt rivers. The SS would appear at the front door as I would exit by whatever tunnel or back door possible, babe in hand, only to find myself on the jumbotron with a Kyra Phillips-Katie Couric clone breathlessly asking rhetorical questions about my motives and telling the nations of how dangerous the child was.

I started to pray for the gamma ray pulse and the wandering black hole to get to earth quicker because I felt safer with them than I did with the nation's leaders or the media.

I've been having them more often lately, myself. I had one night before last about getting caught in the middle of some wierd gang/police type of shootout. Woke me up at 3 AM, it took me forever to get back to sleep.

I told this republican in a bar that such and such republican leader was a moron, and then he said "well, he can't be a moron, HE'S the govener or such and such! and you're sitting in a bar!" Then I remember this dream where I was on a boat, and we were all going to go down a vortex in the sea, and the captain is like "we can survive but we all have to work together!" and we all started following his commands, except for Ronald McDonald, who was ran into the bridge and locked us all out so we couldn't control the ship, and said "You think we're all going to die? If you know so well what's going on how come I'm in here?" And the ship drifted into the vortex as I woke up. Your dream reminds me a little of that.

I was always suspicious of Ronald's true nature. You have confirmed my dread.

I asked him how he was hangin' and if they were treating him OK. Did he need anything?

He wouldn't answer. Guess he only talks for money in those commericals.

"There goes the Hamburglar! Get him Ronald!! If he doesn't spring to action immediately you know he's just one of the robot doubles and not the real deal. What the fuck was Grimace any way?

After I saw V for Vendetta I have been haunted by visages of the burger king guy wielding knives. I went online and apparently I'm not alone

strip away the facial hair and I think it looks like GW himself. Another reason my family no longer eats beef.

I never noticed that but looking at the picture I see you are totally right...God damn it, I am really gona have some nightmares now!
