UK drama paints fictional assassination of Bush
British public broadcaster Channel 4 is courting controversy with what it calls a "shockingly real" drama about the fictional assassination of President George W. Bush.

1. No animals were harmed during the filming
I wonder if President Cheney then declares Martial Law?

6. it's a free world
but, I don't like the concept of the dramatization of the assassination of a living president. Creepy and, I think, unnecessary. I hope any negative impact can be managed responsibly and that the release doesn't cause the assassination images to be exploited or celebrated in any way. The assassination of a US president would be a sobering, sad event. I haven't lived with a president yet whose death would not have a profound, devastating effect on me. Bush is no exception. He'e lucky that most Americans love their country as much as I do. That extends to those who we've given charter to lead us, Bush included. I hope the film reflects all of that. I don't know.
