What would life be like if the media REALLY did have a Liberal bias?
"Tonight on Larry King Live, watch Larry King ask the President the tough questions, so tough that he makes Bush cry like a little baby."

"CNN Special Report - War with Iran? Not if we can help it."

"Were there WMD's in Iraq? No."

"Brit Hume interviews the Vice President and demands to know why he is so evil."

1. Every outlet: "Will the president be impeached for violating FISA laws?"
And: "The impeachment of the president, and how the abuse of signing statments went unreported for so long by the mainstream media."

4. That wouldn't require a "liberal" media...
only an accurate one!

14. Heh, true! How about: "Why is Bush 41's girlfriend given a pass?"
"Expose on Jennifer Fitzerald's other "positions" inside! Also, who was that Italian woman in NY? We track her down and get her side of the story."

3. There would be almost too much to cover
This media does soft criticism of the President but still gives him utmost respect, just because of the office. If media actually took the side of the people, they'd be going after him and his enablers viciously and endlessly.

6. And what of their "respect for the office"
when Clinton occupied the chair?

9. That's definitely curious
Maybe it's that he's a "wartime president" and they don't want to be "helping the enemy" -- don't you know?

5. Tweety: "Our guests tonight are Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid"
"and they'll be debating the issues with Congressman John Conyers and Senators Russ Feingold and John Kerry. And later in the show, our panel of military experts and veterans will discuss Iraq -- let's hear what General Wesley Clark, Paul Hackett, and John Murtha have to say!"

10. Please keep Reid and Pelosi in the closet
They may be the official leaders but are the worst for making any kind of case ever. Bring out Conyers, Lewis, Kucinich, Lee, Sanders, and people who actually know how to fight. The GOP didn't make gains by "appealing to the center"; they did it by demonizing the heck out of anyone who isn't them and screaming at the top of their lungs.

Tucker Carlson's Homage to Hillary airs tomorrow night at nine!

Sean Hannity explains why conservatives are NOT compassionate--and why Democrats are best equipped to tackle the compelling social issues of the day!

Bill O'Reilly's "In Praise of the Liberal Agenda" is number three on the NYT Best Seller list, behind Tony Snow's "My Life in Hell: Two Years at the White House" and Dick Cheney's jailhouse confessional "Begging Forgiveness: Confessions of a Reformed Neocon."

11. If the MSM was REALLY Liberal.......?
---- They would have nailed Bush for trying to say that he "didn't know" Ken Lay,.. a painfully obvious lie which was allowed to pass. They would also have made "PNAC" a routine term in reporting about the Bush administration,... as opposed to a term never spoken. And they could have had a field day with the disingenuous run-up to war,.......

12. BushCo would've been in jail years ago.
There's so much dirt, they could cover it 365/24/7 and still only give us a superficial picture of the Crimes of the GOP leadership.

15. Bush never would have taken office
Edited on Thu Aug-31-06 12:28 PM by StopThePendulum
If the media were really liberal, they'd have lambasted Bush for his getting off scot-free going AWOL from the National Guard, to the point that Gore would have won in a landslide in 2000!

We would have had President Gore in office cleaning up what the Repukes and their oil buddies destroyed. 9/11 would have been quietly thwarted; the Twin Towers would have still stood to this day!
