"There's a grave threat in Iraq. There just is."
• President Bush, 10/2/02

TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) -- President Bush insisted Thursday that "there must be consequences" for Iran's defiance of demands that it stop enriching uranium.

He said "the world now faces a grave threat from the radical regime in Iran," demonstrated by the war between Iranian-backed Hezbollah militants and Israel.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

1. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
People aren't go to buy it this time. They know that too. That's why they were trying to get Israel to do it.

3. Just dust off the old script. They won't even have to think of any
new talking points. How handy for them.

Cheney, the American Judas took care of that didn't he, robertpaulsen?

Dick Cheney exposed Valerie Plame to cover up his association with A.Q. Khan's Nuclear Walmart. Read about it here: http://s93118771.onlinehome.us/DU/AMERICANJUDAS.pdf

8. Exactly!
:hi:

I'll have more to say later about Armitage's role, but obviously Cheney used him the way he used everyone else in his life: like so much tissue paper.

(T)he world now faces a grave threat from the radical regime in Iran.
--G. W. Bush

To correct what you said, there will be a threat from Iran in several years if something isn't done about this problem between now and then.

This is something else you can leave to you successor. Please leave it to your successor. I'm sure that, whoever he is, he can handle it better than you. We don't need you fucking up this situation like you have everything else.

Warmest regards,

/s/

Needless to say my thoughts don't line up with those on the right who are now saying, case closed, nothing to see here, move along.

13. Thanks. You've got some intriguing thoughts on the subject.
Especially your point that Armitage didn't tell Novakula that Plame was a covert agent. What people also forget is that Novak listed two sources for his Plame scoop. So if Armitage didn't tell him she was covert, that narrows the possibilities of who did to one.

14. !
I also wish there would be some discussion on the possibility of Armitage revenge down the road. By all accounts the man can be fierce and certainly garnered that reputation with his 3 tours in Vietnam. And don't forget where Armitage probably learned about Plame in the first place. I refer to that memo that was handed to Powell on AF1. I still think that was a set up to make Powell the fall guy. And maybe, speculation here, Armitage set up his talking to Novak as cover for Powell. Circles within circles. Most people judge him by his looks which are somewhat buffoonish. But that would be a mistake. I don't think we've heard the last from Dickie Armitage.
