We couldn't get a good, solid, liberal pundit like Al Franken...noooo, we get the horse-faced anorexic blowjob queen!!!

Therefore, I will be showing up to heckle, and I will do my damned best to SHUT HER LYING FASCIST MOUTH THE HELL UP!!! I want to get as many people as I can from the local College Democrats chapter to help me, but I may be going it alone. Therefore, some help with taunts would be appreciated. Here's the makings of my list:

"How the hell do you justify calling liberals godless when the Founding Fathers despised organized religion?"

"Ms. Coulter, since you've pretty much discredited yourself on any and all issues, let's address questions on your personal life. Is it true that you're a masochist who enjoys being roughly sodomized while having my side's slogans yelled at you?"

"How do you justify your horrible insults to Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky when it's obvious that you guzzle more cum from more different people than Monica ever did?"

Get a bunch of guys to cross-dress, and have them stage a march during the event as a pro-Coulter transexual group. Call it "Trannies for Annie." (Slogan: "He's one of us!") You can probably come up with additional material for this group on your own; if not, I'm sure everyone here will be willing to help.

ANN COULTER SABOTAGING AL FRANKEN'S FILM?

Ann Coulter has demanded that a great scene where she gets her skinny ass handed to her be cut from the documentary Al Franken: God Spoke. The film, which follows Franken’s book tour for Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right, his involvement in liberal radio network Air America and his eventual decision to run for office, includes a scene where Coulter and Franken engage in a public debate at The Connecticut Forum in 2004. In the scene they briefly argue about the late Minnesota senator Paul Wellstone, then they’re asked a question about which historical figure they would like to be. Coulter says FDR, so she could never introduce the New Deal. Al Franken quickly and easily decimates her with his answer – he’d be Hitler, so he could stop the Holocaust. It’s a great moment, and not one that was a secret between then and now – it’s been a favorite laughing point for bloggers. But then on Monday directors Nick Doob and Chris Hegedus were informed that Coulter wouldn’t give them permission to use the footage, even though the film has already screened at the Tribeca Film Festival with the scene intact.

“I’m heartsick about it, frankly,” Franken told me today. “It’s a funny scene, with the Hitler thing. And also she’s awful.”

“We went under the unthinking presumption that it was a public event and we could shoot it,” says co-director Nick Doob. “It was really, in fact, a miscommunication in our office. To use that footage we had to have permission from Ann Coulter.”

The filmmakers don’t know what Coulter’s exact problem is with the footage. “We don’t really know,” says Doob. “She just didn’t want it in the film.” If I had to guess I would say it’s a two-pronged thing: she doesn’t want to be in the movie getting owned, and she wants to spite Franken.

What university are you at? Oklahoma State got Bush speaking at last year's commencement. OU got Katie Couric. Personally, I would rather have had Bush come here---so I could have protested!

She came to my school back in March (although Al Gore in coming to speak in a few weeks, so that makes up for last year :).) I went to her event and it was a waste of time. I tried asking her a question along the lines of "why do you support a President and party that voted for a record student loans cut?" She tried cutting me off half-way through and a bunch of people in the audience were yelling "answer the question!" to which she replied "...we'll there's your question, there are too many dumb students!"
If you choose to go, ask her about her plagiarism accusations, or about how she voted in the wrong precinct in Florida and knew that she was breaking the law doing it. But overall, she is just there for "entertainmant value." It's hard to piss her off by saying "you should be ashamed of yourself" or any of that.

But I'm pretty sure she's even spoken at Ivy League colleges. The question is: Why? How is she in any way intelligent?

when she spoke at UT......he asked her a question that made her very very upset. I know DU is cool with profanity and such, but I hesitate to repeat the question he asked her.....it flipped her out.

Since most colleges of evil bastions of liberalism, afterall. Although, considering the fact that they invited her AFTER she made her comments about the 9/11 widows, I'm thinking that this is a "red" school.

you have to ridicule her and make the event impossible because the diversion will steal all the attention so she has to leave and show her cowardice. A greased pig marked "I love Ann" could be a solution. There are plenty of solutions like that. Don't act alone, check the environment of the event, security flaws. Be imaginative. Film everything and put on you tube.

Considering what a large school it is, the event was poorly attended. Only about 100 people showed up, and many of them were the bodyguards surrounding Ann. The rest of them were the local brownshirt wannabees, who only thought they were there to guard against liberals.

My daughter went with one friend. The rest of the liberals ignored the event. I heard that it was a flop.

or counter alternatives : invite a popular liberal speaker. Or organize a music concert with a popular progressive band.

They had Ambassador Wilson soon after. It was not done necessarily as a response to Ann, but his talk was much better attended. And there were no hecklers. I don't think hecklers could outsmart him, and they know it.

It isn't always necessary to protest. Ann loves attention. The best thing we can do is deny it to her.

A couple of things you can do that don't involve pie throwing.

1) Have everyone, or at least a good bloc of you, smuggle in the masks like "V" for Vendetta" and put them on just as she is being introduced at the podium.

2) All dress up in black, a long blond wig and an ugly cartoon face mask of her face in protest outside of the auditorium, with the usual, signs saying you don't like her.

I'm not sure if its a debate or a book signing but the big flashing sign by the freeway side of San Diego State U has been displaying that for a couple of months now.
I may attend.

It would be terrible to carry that image burned into your retinas .
I recommend something visual, perhaps a long session with your favorite movies.
If you're out of ear shot, you should be OK.

If I were still there I'd be thinking up a plan.
