Here's his question for this hour.

7 p.m.: The Bush administration says if you object to the war in Iraq you're guilty of appeasing fascism. Do you agree?

Here's the form to send him your answer to the question http://www.cnn.com/feedback/forms/form5t.html?65

He suggested that if we were looking for fascists, we need look no further than the Washington Beltway.

Anyone else see his rant?

2. Is It Safe To Put Cafferty In The John Dean Category
Can we assume at this point that Mr. Cafferty at one time was a repub conservative, but he is now so completely disgusted that he's ashamed he ever was a part of their group?

I know there is no shortage of repubs trying to "act" like they're suddenly sympathetic to liberals, but Jack comes off as Pissed Off and sincere in his objections to what's taking place with this administration.

It's always nice to see a sensible repub, who hasn't bought into the "spin" and BS that's been coming out the past few years.

5. I think Cafferty is a true conservative.........
a person who sees the bastardized version in the White House and cringes. I doubt he's coming over to the light side but he can't stand the total darkness of the neo-cons. I'd much rather have an honest debate with a true conservative than try to crack the cement-headed freepers shell. There's absolutely NO hope for them. They'll continue to drink the Bush kool-aid until the bitter end.

8. John Dean calls himself a Goldwater Conservative.
And as many know, Goldwater is enjoying (except that he's dead) a revival as a "principled" conservative.

12. that's how far right the media had taken us
I recall that Goldwater was a rightist loon at that time.

Now he seems like John Kenneth Galbraith or something!

17. Yep. I call him a classic libertarian.
He was very centered on individual rights. Generally, you could do whatever you wanted as lon as it didn't infringe on someone else's rights. He was anti-authoritarian, and anti-religious. As a callow youth, I liked him.

4. My Reply to Jack
Oh, so now being for peace and against killing tens of thousands of innocent civilians, decimating a whole country, contaminating a whole region with depleted uranium, and causing 20,000 US military injuries and over 2600 deaths, all in a war based on lies, is a crime ? What's next? Re-Education Camps ? Fascist indeed.

6. Boosh is saying "My way or the highway."

And that is not what the leader of a democracy would say.

That is more characteristic of what a fascist would say actually.

I may have sent it off too late to go on the air.
