Northern California Homeless Veterans to get help at stand down
Anderson--Homeless north state veterans could get a helping hand Oct-13-15 during Stand Down 2006 at the Shasta District Fair grounds.
Sponsored by the North Vally Stand Down Association in Redding, the three -day event is designed to help veterans in providing services such as food ,shelter, clothing and health screening,as well as Veterans Affairs and Socail Security benefits counseling.
It will also provide referrals for other important services, such as housing, employment and substance abuse treatment

Unlike this do nothing Congress people out here care. 33%of all the homeless in this Country are veterans. TIME FOR CHANGE

1. As a Viet Nam Veteran
I find this very refreshing. Thank you, North Valley Stand Down. This sort of activity should be repeated all over this country.
