We are Up to 2641 this morning. And rising.
wounded - 19,890

www.icasualties.org/oif/ for the facts.

The Kansas City Star had one article this morning stating that the Iraqi casualties were way down this month.

And right below was another article about 73 people dying in violence over there yesterday.

Somewhere between 41,000 and 46,000 Iraqis have died in the violence.

Between the war and Katrina this admistration has managed to kill more Americans than the actual terrorists!

6. Add to that all of the Iraqis that have died.
This adm. has been directly responsible for thousands and thousands of deaths.

What if we had spent the 300 billion to help the people in Darfur or the Congo? Or even the 9 billion that seems to have disappeared.

There are so many things we could have spent that money on that would have made a really positive difference.

5. Thank you, leftyladyfrommo, and anyone who posts this daily
dose of reality. I still wonder what number is going to be outrageous enough before we hear a collective "Enough"?

7. Unfortunately, we will never hear the cry
from many Americans because they falsely believe they have no stake in this war...

Just think only 873 Deployment Days to go until 20 Jan 2009...

9. Who believes they need to be cautious?
I know the reply I want to make but, I have become more cautious over time. Never thought I would need to monitor my words in America.

It is not them or their child so, it is just a number. Many of us think of our own children and can imagine the pain that others go through. I do not think these people have that capacity.
