1. They barely showed the 500 thousand last September. So probably not.
It was like "Hundreds protested the war in downtown DC today . . .. pffft. And in other news . . ."

Can't have King Shitbritches and his followers rack their beautiful minds with any dissent, now.

similar results. Although at least C-Span gave us some coverage. Still, our local and the Cables covered it with a one line sentence: "Hundreds (when there were thousands) protest over Iraq"...or when Bush was Inaugurated in 2004 and thousands protested or in all the other massive protests that so many thousands of Americans have done through these LONG YEARS...

:-(

Thousands Demonstrate Outside U.N. Against War

NEW YORK -- Thousands of Iraq war protesters marched Tuesday to the United Nations, where President George W. Bush was presenting his vision for the Middle East to skeptical world leaders.
Marchers chanted: "Hey hey, ho ho, the Bush regime has got to go" and hoisted signs that said: "Bush lies, who dies?"
"I am more passionate than ever about the Iraq War, because it has ruined our economy," said Thomas Brinson, 63, a Vietnam veteran from Deer Park, Long Island. "It's killing innocent civilians, and the National Guard was deployed in Iraq and they weren't here for natural disasters like Hurricane Katrina."

The march, organized by the group United for Peace and Justice, started in the garment district on the West Side and stretched out along a dozen blocks to the United Nations on the East Side, where there were anti-war speeches.
A contingent of a dozen "Raging Grannies" wore colorful hats and dresses.

Veterans Concerns
WSLS NewsChannel 10
Sep 19, 2006

While President Bush outlined his vision for the Middle East at the United Nations, protesters voiced their opinions.

Thousands of Iraq war protesters hit the streets of New York Tuesday.

The march was organized by the Group United for Peace and Justice.

And with the war stretching on in Iraq, even some of our veterans are concerned.
