I am worried about the New Jersey Senate race, Kean(R) leads in the polls
Quinnipiac, Strategic Vision, Rasmussen and some others have Kean winning by 4-5%, Zogby has them tied. It should be noted that these pollsters have Democrats picking up some Senate seats, so I don't think this is some right-wing conspiracy with the pollsters.

I hope Democrats aren't sitting on their hands thinking that just because New Jersey is very blue that Menendez(D) will easily win over Kean(R).

2. Quinnipaic polled me last week
and asked if whether Menendez' alleged scandal would deter me from supproting him against Kean- I said "no".

I think Menendez will pull it out. He's running a new commercial blasting Kean for supporting Chimp on the Iraq war and his "stay the course" strategy. NJers don't like this shitty war. However, all this "war on terror" refocus away from Iraq is having an effect, I think. Next to NY, NJ was most directly affected by 9-11. In my small city, Hoboken, 53 people were killed. That's an objective view. I do think a re-focus on Iraq will bring this baby home to Dems.

3. We have a blatantly political, partisan federal prosecutor.
The only thing the republicans have to run on is "corruption." They hype it daily. The federal prosecutor, fatso christie, has ambitions to be governor, and appears to almost coordinate his prosecutions of democratic political figures with the election cycle.

4. I read that some New Jersey residents
aren't aware that it is Kean JR running. I don't see any other good reason for Kean to be polling as highly as he is.
