If by some miracle the democrats do take over this congress. Before they investigate the bush administration the first thing they should do is to investigate the news media. ... and while I'm here - an anecdote from Dallas TX.

My wife is in cardiac rehab after open heart surgery. She visited the facility last week. There were three other patients and the nurse.

I had been there with her a couple of times and Fox News was always blaring away. This time I wasn't there, but the nurse running the show asked the rehab patients what channel they wanted to watch. Everyone chimed up immediatetely "Not Fox, that's not news"! The nurse got kind of defensive and said "the morning bunch only wants to watch Fox" and "we have to be unanimous". But she wound up having to change to CNN.

Now, you know and I know that CNN is only a small margin better than Fox, but at least the the great unwashed are catching on - Fox is not news, it is fucking propaganda.

.... my wife is doing fine. The news as of right now is actually looking pretty good. If we could get a few high-level Democrats to speak the way our former president has spoken, we'll win the house this November!
