His socks weren's long enough? That's the commentary this a.m. on MSNBC. After that, I will turn the channel. Talk about hacking an interview to death!

1. That is crazy talk. Why not talk about what Keith said?
Can anyone actually sit there and listen to them talk about SOCKS?

that he was showing a little leg during this interview? Don't they have anything else to talk about? In what context was this important piece of news presented?

9. I guess Contessa Brewer ran out of ideas; she had Ron Christie
(RW hack) on and another man (can't recall his name) and asked them for style points, RE: the bared leg. She really sounded like a bushbot to me this a.m. though sometimes I think she has some intelligence hiding somewhere in there. Not today.

28. Yea, I saw the bushbot in her when she was speaking to some
talking head and implying that since we're already in Irag, the NIE is irrelevant and there's no need to make it public.

20. I'm surprised someone hasn't taken up the issue of the color
of the backdrop. Anything to distract from the true worth of the interview: that Scrub is a total failure, his party is corrupt and media is complicit in their sub-standard leadership.

Derisive email. Lots of laughing and pointing and "Why the fuck are you wasting our time with this shit" in them.

Shame them. THAT, they will understand.

How is that? Bill showed a bit of calf ... blivet** showed his ass.

Ok, I'll admit to getting more turned on by Bill's calf then blivet's** ass. That's why the excitement. What will we tell the children? ;)

edit - this is the best I could do, my other source went poof - and I didn't save it to my hard drive. :(

covering the actual content, instead focusing on the manner, style, clothes, etc.

Another example, when deciding who to vote for for Prez, don't focus on policy, judgment, etc. Instead focus on "who would I want to have a beer with" or "what does he wear? Earth tones?" etc.

23. Actually this is a good thing. It will make them show the video over and
over again - which will expose more people to what is being said by President Clinton. In other words, it will backfire on them.

24. Try to think of it this way, that nonsense usually only serves to make the
commentator appear petty and foolish to those who are seeking valid comments and real dialog. Although it may seem a bit to "Pollyanna-ish" I have a hard time believing that we DUers are the only people who watch news and political shows for real discussions about REAL issues, not Joan Rivers type fashion commentaries on how high a person's SOCKS are or are not. ;)

Geesh... Clinton was well dressed and a million times more articulate then BuShi* is in his wildest Rovian wet dreams. If his sock height is one of the "big" issues they're discussing it just goes to show that they know they don't have jack for something substantial and valid to discuss.
