Label or name for non-NeoCon Republicans?

My dad just called over lunch, with a sheepish question. He doesn't really know where to fit in. Rush on the radio, for the first time maybe ever, was pissing him off. He hadn't heard Rush in a few years and was shocked at the change he noticed in the rhetoric. Enough to ask my opinion. :) He has a political identity crisis on his hands so I am going to start filling him in more thoroughly on the neocon agenda. Maybe it will be enough to steer him Independent at least...

So, I ask DUer's: do "traditional" or "old school" Republicans have a label, ala the Neo-Cons? What would you call a traditional, tolerable Republican in today's climate? (besides nearly extinct...ha...)

Most I know call themselves Libertarians, although few live up to that name.
