DU MEMORIAL WALL IS A GO. PLEASE READ.

I have been authorized by Skinner and the admins. to say that the memorial wall/page is definately a go. They would like everyone to post ALL those from DU you know have passed HERE in THIS thread. If you want to discuss ideas for the page/wall, I can start another thread, OR you can add to the one in GD already started here:

We need to keep this thread clean for easy reference, kicks and names only please. If you want to add something please put it in the body of your kick message. It is up to your judgement whether or not to put the person's real name or not, we can always do that later on the actual page IF it is ok with the families.

A suggested memorial:

Most americans don't vote. Which means everybody here knows somebody who doesn't vote. So find somebody who doesn't vote and convince/nag them into voting. Offer them a ride to the polling station if you have too. Consider their vote to be a vote from a DUer lost.

It was an older gentleman, 60's + who died in his sleep. I distinctly remember Kephra's death, and it was not him.

And it looks like the names of those we want to remember have been listed.

I didn't know Liberal Andy had passed. I remember him posting about his health conditions, he seemed so strong.

As a 'newbie' DU'er, things like this make me glad I found this place. K&R:kick:

but when it really matters, we always pull together whether it is a passing or an illness etc. :hug: When DU is united this place is rather poignant and magical.
