I Am Against Torture - 28 Sep 06

§ I am against torture - period!

The United States of America is actually bringing to a vote in Congress, a bill allowing torture. This cannot stand. The weaker the case against a person, the fewer rights a person has.

How much longer before those who advocate torture, start banging the drums to bring back slavery?

1. Long before that happens
they will define terrorists (enemy combatants) as anyone who openly disagrees with or protests their policies.

(that's coming very soon now, maybe less than a year away)

I think we will all be seeing each other in the Gulags in the not too distant future (FEMA camps).

One more rigged election and one more terrorist attack... and poof, everything is gone, Bush will NOT
give up the office in 2009. Unless it is to another BFEE member.

3. They will have virtual slavery in this country soon
Once they have broken all the unions and outsourced all the jobs in this country and everyone is unemployed. They will start to reopen the factories.
Only this time you will be hired with wages that are recorded by dollars in a day vs. dollars in an hour. There will be no benefits and safety will not be a concern. That is the ultimate goal of the outsourcing of America. Create a two class society, Rich and republican and poor.

Anyone who dares rise up against their employer or the government will simply be shot.

4. Indentured servitude is coming back. Only land owners will be
allowed to vote. Get out of debt now! (friend's psychic vision about 10 years ago. hope she's wrong, but damn it sure seems more possible now.)

5. Every single person who votes for torture
Edited on Thu Sep-28-06 07:11 AM by C_U_L8R
should be branded a war criminal
and prosecuted for war crimes.

If this is not the definition of war crime.. then what is.

And I don't buy their saving lives argument for one second...
if that logic holds true then it was okay for North Vietnamese
to torture John Cain to prevent further bombing of their people.
Same - Same.
