ROLL CALL: WHITE HOUSE INTERVENED FOR ABRAMOFF CLIENTS
By Justin Rood - September 28, 2006, 6:57 PM
More of Kane-and-Bresnahan's reporting from Roll Call (sub. req.):

During the period examined by the committee, Bush administration officials repeatedly intervened on behalf of Abramoff¹s clients, including helping a Mississippi Indian tribe obtain $16 million in federal funds for a jail the tribe wanted to build.
Abramoff was able to block the nomination of one Interior Department official using Christian conservative Ralph Reed as a go-between with Rove, according to e-mails between Abramoff and Reed.

Abramoff also tried to oust a State Department employee who interfered with their efforts on behalf of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, one of Abramoff¹s most lucrative clients.

4. Who ya gonna believe? - clearly, Bush's actions speak for themselves, the
Example: The Dubai ports deal has yet to have become a reality.

Support the troops Bush says? - Bush refused to pass a bill giving Iraq vets coming home to walter Reed only to be handed a bill for the services renedered, troops with shrapnel still lodged in their heads, must wait up until 75 fucking days before their given appoinments because there injuries won't kill them for at least 100 days. Taking care of the people who are laying it on the line, and this administarion turns their backs on them? --

6. We are so screwed. This bunch of criminals can do what it
wants and get away with it. The Congress, with its criminal majority, rubber stamps everything and asks Karl if they "done good." Elections are run by Diebold so it's bound to continue. It's a bloodless coup. Well, almost bloodless. There are the poor slobs held indefinitely and tortured for the information they don't have. This is scary.

8. Lies and deception
are the biggest part of this Republican Administration. Somehow the American people lost control of these people and they are taking control. Personally, I don't see a need for Congress any longer, WHAT HAVE THEY DONE. Not a dam thing for true Americans.
If this was the Clinton Administration there'd be ten Special Prosecutors Investigating everyone.
It's no wonder Judge Alito's wife was crying, she saw what her husband was getting into and she was going to be a part of it.

9. Jack who? We at the WH don't know Jack!
What are you talking about, never met the guy. We see 1000's of people every year & you expect us to remember one guy. He's just a number, a comma in history. Besides that's old news just like Iraq & Katrina are. Course 9/11 is not old news, at least for us during election time & we will make sure you don't forget that.

:sarcasm:
