3. The real way unemployment stats are calculated aren't much better
Sixty thousand people are randomly called, and are asked if they're employed and how many hours they work. If the answer is yes, and they work ten or more hours/week, then they're counted as employed. If they answer no, then they are asked if they're actively looking for work. If the answer is yes, then they count towards the unemployed list. If they're not actively looking for work, they they aren't counted at all.

Sixty thousand people are called at random. Well, the first flaw I see with that is that many poor and unemployed tend not to have phones.

It's all just one big shell game to prop up the government and keep the people from revolting.
