CNN Reports (5-6est) Was Incredible...Focused on the Blogosphere for

both Foley News and Financial News! It seems a New Feature and "tip 'o the hat" to the Blogosphere which is a good move! It seems to be a NEW SHOW in that time slot.

The big deal is that once again John Aravosis of "America Blog" did a fantastic job pushing the issues involved with Foley. The Blog Guy from the New Republic (whose name I didn't get) was a fantastic "centrist" in that he really Supported Aravosis!


I'm not quite ready to e-mail CNN for this GREAT view from the Blogsphere that went on for an HOUR..because we know the "cables turn on a dime" but OMG it was Great to see!

We might watch a week or two and then give our support or do it now. BTW that "chirpy" Carol Lin was the Anchor! Kind of blew me away since I dislike her gossipy manor so much. But, this was GOOD....

Please e-mail John Aravosis at "America Blog" if you saw it an were impressed at how he got all of the info out about Foley and how the Repugs covered it up by giving the info about his perversion to the Repug Deputy Campaign Chairperson to deal with it rather than urging an INVESTIGATION!

Aravosis also urged that a "Special Prosecutor" be appointed to Investigate since Repugs can't investigate their own and it's not up to Dems to do it but the Repugs themselves.

She seemed to want to make the case that the leaders only knew about the e-mail and not the IMs. As always she had the last word, but John did great.

Messages, she started to talk over him very quickly, almost in a panic, trying to stop, imo, any further discussion about them.

the Best Coverage of Blogsphere...and it hung liberal. Even the guy from New Republic was not your usual Young Repug Group Speak...and he was a fresh face along with Aravosis.

It was a good show. Focused on Blogosphere..mostly..and a little report of Jeanie Most with the Rogue Squirrel story and another enfotainment feature which was "cool" and not Repug.

I'm so used to the "cram down your throat Repug stuff" that it was REFRESHING. How long will it last? And, it's in a weird time slot...but says to me the MSM is looking at Blogosphere as a new Gold Mine for their failing raitings. That's good IMHO...:shrug:

but it's a teeny baby step in the direction many of us here would hope they would go to.

Do I trust them? No! ...do I know that the "Money $$$$'s" is going to the Blogosphere...YES!

It's all about ...following the Money and the Buzz.

That's why I posted it. An "interesting" test of the waters for CNN. But, I'm not naive enough to know that it's just about "business." :-(

I think John (from Ameriblog) has appeared on other shows. He does a great job.
