We're no better than Clinton! We're no better than Clinton!
Do they really think this line of defense will help? Faux News, and probably every other right leaning media outlet, is now peddling the story that the Foley scandal is no worse than Clinton/Monica. Now put aside for the moment the salient fact that Monica was an adult; do the GOP propagandists really think this will help them? The right spent the last fourteen year demonizing Clinton for his sexual lapses --now they think the American public will excuse or minimize the Foley mess, mushrooming into a House leadership mess, by saying they behaved no better? "Clinton did it too, in the West Wing!" Is the Base truly this stupid? I'm not sure I want to know the answer.
