Most ridiculous question from the recent Zogby poll:
Looks like someone screwed up on the answer selection:

If you knew that offshore oil rigs would be so far away they could not be seen by people standing along the shoreline, would that make you much more likely, somewhat more likely, somewhat less likely, or much less likely to support the drilling for oil off the American coastline?

Much more likely
Somewhat more likely
Somewhat more likely
Much more likely
Not sure

2. then the oil companies paid a great deal for this poll
It was all about drilling and whether the US depends too much or too little on oil. Many of the "options" weren't really options at all and not once did it ask whether the government or companies should invest in alternative energy.

3. There's oil rigs by Santa Barbara, and when I swim in the ocean there...
I have tarry oil spots on me when I get out--just like I saw when I cleaned up after the Exxon Valdez oil spill in Alaska.

4. The problem with Zogby Polls is that they don't give an option for
"That's the stupidest f-ing question I have ever heard and I'm not answering it."

5. Most of those oil questions didn't make any sense
But that seems to be typical when the questions are obviously funded by a group looking for a specific polling outcome.
