Why Republicans are better than Democrats...
I was just in the car and tried to find the new AAR affiliate on the AM radio, but stumbled across the infamous Laura Inghram instead. I've heard OF her, but never heard her show. She was listening to an enlightened caller explain why Americans will vote republican in November, and the big point that everyone is missing surrounding the Foley scandal, and republican scandals in general...are you ready? This is why Republicans will win...

When Republicans get busted, they cheerfully step down as soon as they're caught, but Democrats always try to cling to power, like Clinton did.

And there you have it. The GOP: Setting the Bar as Low as Possible.

2. Uh, that would mean he'd have stepped down
a year ago when Hastert learned about it or FIVE YEARS ago when the pages were warned about him.

That talking point is just too easy to torpedo.

3. Tony Snow did the low bar thing too -
said "this sort of thing happens on The Hill from time to time" - as if it's no big deal. Also said it to distance the WH.

4. The reason they "cheerfully" step down
is because their crimes are most often far, far worse than any of their Democratic colleagues, and they want to avoid prosecution and jail time because they are all greasy little weasels who talk out of their asses.

5. Cheerfully step down?
Oh look I'm a member of the Grand Old Party,
I'm so happy that I was caught for soliciting sex with minors!
I'm so happy that I am stepping down.
Now I have more time for the Grand Old Party
or NAMBLA for short.

...are stepping down next? Cool, if all these neo-con bastards that get caught in a scandal step down immediately we won't need November to take back the majority.
