LOL. Free Republic says it's defending the Constitution.
I haven't been around the forums much lately and stopped by, certain that things were roaring over Foley and the exposure of the WH's incompetence in dealing with Al Qaeda, and so on. Sure enough, DU is humming amid the seemingly limitless exposure of GOP corruption and hypocrisy. I wondered if the Freepers are in all out freak mode or if their blinder-friendly denial chips have kicked in, so I dropped by for a friendly visit.

They are in full denial over there, somehow trying to turn everything their reps do into Dem's faults, and of course trying to equate Clinton with Foley and on and on and on. But the funniest thing out there, I swear, is the Free Republic donation solicitation emblem I saw in one of the posts. They have an eagle with a "Protecting the Constitution" banner across it.

It truly boggles the mind.
