About those Rethug sexual predator campaign ads
in several states. I just heard on CNN that Foley was behind them. Have they pulled all of them yet?

By the way they're talking about the $100,000 for Reynolds. Begala started it and I heard two reporters mention it last night. CNN just mentioned that Dems are delighted Reynolds is invovled since he is the 'campaign' man.
This is going to get ugly and alongside the Woodward book, Rethugs will be on the defensive from now to election day.
The only question is what is their plan to stop the rot since their terra, terra, terra campaign has been hijacked.

Karma is a bitch and I'm loving it.

It's headed down a steep hill, and the brakes have failed.

P.S. Pass the popcorn!

Woodward book, Foley fallout knocks GOP off message

By LIZ SIDOTI
Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Republicans are scrambling to contain the damage of two separate political headaches that share a common theme - accusations that the GOP is hiding the truth.

At the White House, President Bush's team is rebutting a new book that suggests he misled the country about the severity of the violence in Iraq. On Capitol Hill, House Republican leaders are facing questions of what - and when - they knew about former GOP Rep. Mark Foley's inappropriate electronic communications with teenage males who had worked as pages.

"These two events have a chance to be a cloud over the entire Election Day," said Scott Reed, a Republican strategist, who lamented the terrible timing for Republicans with just five weeks before the Nov. 7 election.

Tsk, tsk.

 and coffee. Interesting combination, to say the least.

6. Bingo
Reynolds was on CSpan in a press conference from Buffalo NY. Sadly I missed most of it but he was squirming big time.

9. "... lamented the terrible timing for Republicans ..." - No word on
whether he laments the fact that they actually occurred.
