They can take a pile of bullshit and make a flower bloom. Be aware of their previous tactics. The Mark Foley resignation may just turn out to be one of those turd blossoms. How? With a little help from the media and the propagandists, they can make this whole sordid mess about homosexuality. Watch for more references about Foley being "gay". They will use that more often than "pedophile". Just saying...

1. Nope.

They can't spin this one. It's about the cover up every bit as much as Foley, if not more. The Washington Times has already turned on Hastert as have other prominent republicans.

Rove mentioned an "October surprise." Maybe Foley is the sacrificial lamb preparing the way for an even bigger pedophile scandal involving a well-known Democrat. I certainly hope that is not the case, but with this bunch of corrupt, power-hungry creeps, I wouldn't put anything past them.
