HA!!! Just overheard in my cube...

There are two staunch GOPers where I work. I don't ever speak about politics or even current events as these two are VOLATILE!!!

Bush Supporter #1-She's a thirty-something, works part time and lives at home. Loud, animated...her politics pretty much reflects those of her conservative dad. Always saying "Dad think this..." or "Dad says that..."

Bush Supporter #2-He's a kind of mealy-mouthed slug. Totally devoted to the GOP cause and a rapid Bushbot. Has "Bush/Cheney" stickers on his car.

Anyway, Bush Supporter #2 comes into the work area to pick up some papers and greets the Bush Supporter #1...

Bush Supporter #1: "Hi, ****, how's it going today?"
Bush Supporter #2: "Okay, how about with you?"
BS #1: "I don't know...What's going on? Can you tell me what's going on?"
BS #2: "I don't know either..."
BS #1: "I don't know what's going on. But I hope everything comes out all right in November."
BS #2: "I think so...I think we'll be all right..."
BS #1: "Just keep telling me...Just keep telling me everything's going to be all right..."

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! The Repuke rank-a-file is running scared! What's wrong, isn't the "liberal media" assuaging their fears of a GOP meltdown? Or is it simply a case of cognitive dissonance?

Here's a newsflash for them: Everything is NOT alright. Everything will not be alright if the Republicans win. Everything will just get worse. A system with no checks and balances and no accountability is a bad thing. And it will just get worse.

At the ljlworld.com this morning there is an article the Boyda-Ryun rematch and they said it looked like it was heating up. They talked about the number of Boyda versus Ryun signs and Ryun has begun running negative ads against Boyda. In other words, your office mates have something closer to home to worry about too!
