All the facts of decades of Republican sex scandals, Republican criminals (I know it's redundant) and more. I haven't found the answer why * calls Laura "pickles" yet, but I don't think I want to know about any more Republican sexual anything. The Henry Hyde adultery and divorce thing is despicable, granted, but he aint got nothing over Rudy's bad drag shows and his affair with that woman who he eventually married while divorcing his wife in public.

It's not like this Foley thing surprised anyone in the Republican Party, it's just the whole "what's the big deal if some Republican member gets a little booty from a teenager of any sex mentality. Hey, Republicans are in power, baby, we deserve it!"

In their defense, they were pretty busy stealing money, lying to the 9/11 commimssion and the public, stealing money (did I mention that already?), going down on - er, I mean - trying to do damage control over Iraq and Abramowitz and Delay. Oh, never mind, those are crimes, too.

DU used to have a "Demopedia" which included favorite DU slang terms, their meanings, and their origins. I can't seem to find it now.
IIRC, DU'ers started calling Laura "Pickles" as a reference to Buddy Sorrell's wife on the Dick vsn Dyke Show. Buddy would always talk about her but she was seldom seen and seldom spoke.
