The presidents of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez; Cuba, Fidel Castro and Bolivia, Evo Morales, are the preferred leaders of the Argentineans if they could elect them as President of Argentina, according to a survey published Tuesday and conducted in Buenos Aires by a private pollster.
US President George W. Bush obtained 1 percent of votes.
According to the survey, whose results were forwarded to AP, the respondents were asked what regional leader would they vote if they could elect him as the President of Argentina.
Chávez ranked first with 23 percent, followed by Castro (22 percent) and Morales (14 percent). Bush ranked last with 1 percent.
Bush popularity, however, plummeted from 32 percent in 2001 to 2 percent in 2006.
