1. pretty straightforward, hmmm? LIBERTARIAN boom?
He said he first felt like leaving the party a couple years ago over spending (or something like that)
It is almost sad with, so much else going on that this is the 'lucky break' perhaps. But it IS all part of the big sickening picture- money and power and whatever they think they can get away with is all that counts: not our democracy, not all the suffering and deaths ETC. www.worldcantwait.net

2. Let it split the party.
Then we can watch them scurry for voter scraps.

I don't EVER watch him, but he caught my attention.

Was it worth my rewinding and watching?

12. Scarborough is a pathetic little man...
...who had an assistant found DEAD in his CONGRESSIONAL OFFICE. Look it up. I used to watch him to see how low he could go. I just can't follow him down that far. It's too late for ALL the right-wing pundits. Piss on the fire and call the dog. His credibility (like many of his peers) is unsalvageable. Watching him suck it up now is just amusing, and not as useful as if he had done so BEFORE the 2004 elections, when it may have done him (and everyone else) some good. Too little, too late, little man. Go enjoy your inevitable slide into obscurity.

7. He's off the reservation.
I get the impression he really wants to see Congress change hands.

11. I get the feeling that he sees the handwriting on the wall
and he wants to keep his job at MSNBC. If things change in the Congress, then the slant of the news just might change rapidly too. Wouldn't want to spill his drink as the Titanic begins to tilt, would he?

He will lean more left if he thinks it will keep him on our tv's and keep his rating up enough to be allowed to continue to follow Keith.

Your mileage may vary.
