I just heard something really scary
Scarborough was talking about the Foley cover-up and he said it was like it was a partisan thing. He asked what about the Democratic pages, they weren't even warned.

I checked outside, no flying pigs or snow on the ground.

1. Methinks Scarborough doth not protest enough.

Very discomforting to have someone like him on our side. I really hope the Dems will clean house when they get in office so we can raise the integrity level in this country.

6. I wonder if he knows someone who was a victim
Maybe he has a relative who was molested at some point and this kind of thing disgusts him.

I get nervous when they cross over from the Dark Side. :scared:

13. Scarborough can actually be pretty tolerable...
I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with Scarborough. As long as the subject isn't "Hollyweird," the Clintons, or (at the time) Schiavo, he can be actually be quite sensible. Of course, he always arrives at the conservative position, and I usually disagree with him on everything (the exceptions being things like when he discussed the "Nancy Grace pushing a distraught mother to suicide" thing, but that's a WTF? issue and not Left/Right), but I'd never put him in the same class as O'Reilly, Hannity, Limbaugh, etc.

ie. I rarely agree with Scarborough (though he's generally consistent with the low-deficit-spending conservatism and has come out against the current Repubs for it, so I respect him for that), but he at least strikes me as being human--which is quite a rarity among the RW talk show hosts--so I'm not too surprised that he'd be genuinely disgusted at this whole Foley thing.

15. Scarborough will die w/ an R stapled on his forhead--But he is thoughtful
and thought provoking. I disagree with him 99% of the time, but he gives his viewers a fair hearing more often than he doesn't. He surprises me too, sometimes. Definitely someone one could do deals with. Or scream holy hell at then go out for a beer with that evening.

16. exactly...
Despite knowing that I'd probably be arguing with him most of the time, I wouldn't be physically nauseous or have the urge to beat him over the head with a baseball bat like I would if I were within twenty feet of Hannity or O'Reilly.

And, like you said, he will generally give his viewers a fair hearing--he will admittedly often have a guest roster skewed to the Right, but he'll give everyone a chance to say his piece, and not just start screaming at him or calling him a terrorist-lover, etc., like O'Reilly.

7. Joe is not in theory
a republican. He is a conservative, they will follow the republicans, but have different values, like social values, fiscal responsibility, trust in the government etc.

Like Lou Dobbs ... he isn't on our side, he is just not on theirs.

12. He reminds me of the conservatives in my family --
they don't like the neocons, but that doesn't mean they like Liberals.

Don't ever get the impression that Scarborough will start morphing into Keith Olbermann, but he also will never turn into Karl Rove.

He was on Hardball earlier. He slipped it in that if people vote for the opposition - Pelosi of San Fran will be Majoirty Leader. Booga-booga-booga.

when everyone was all aghast at how much he was sweating (literally) on air. I think he is really worried about the lid being off of the pickle jar!

18. he was also a representative from florida before he got a show on faux

he could be really taking all of this very personally. he may have
heard some of the rumors while he was in congress, & etc . . . . perhaps
he even knows some of the pages in question personally.

I'm just saying, he could be legitimately outraged.

Hence, there is no need for them to warn what they perceive as less than human liberal spawn.
