On the right wing meme "Democrats leaked Foley story"...

Good, the Democrats exposed a child predator that the republicans had ignored and let loose with young kids. If it is true that Democrats exposed republican congressman Mark Foley's lurid activity then they should be honored and the republicans who covered this up should be villified.

So the next time some right wing hack runs with this line of bull, our response should be, "You are goddamned right we would expose this kind of crap, Why didn't the Republicans?"

They obviously knew about his situation and allowed Foley to go on molesting boys in the name of holding the seat in Congress.

That is the criminal part and if the Democrats were the ones that leaked it, what does that tell you? It tells me they are looking out for the kids more than the party with claims to family values.
