hey. question on the "Jesus Camp" banner ad.

is that a sick joke? or is this really an ad about a movie touting religious conservative Madrasahs?

sorry if this is a duplicate or old news. just haven't been here for awhile and noticed it. quite startling.

I guess I understand that such movies are being made, they're even tapping into that vein with a Fox "Jumpin' for Jesus" movie division, but I don't understand why elad, skinner, et al are allowing that one unless they are just tapped into an adserver that puts content up based on what they think will interest the viewers/readers?

2. It's a real movie

and it's disgusting. I love DU and have let the ads run, but I had to turn it off tonight after realizing that was just about the only ad I had been served all day here in GD.

They are creating "soldiers for Jesus" at Jesus camp. Scary shit!

I was leaving the ads open in the hope that DU would glean some revenue from those things floating above my screen.

But I saw that crap and turned off the google ads.

That shit makes me think bad things.

I had heard about these Children of Fire for Jesus or some such shit but didn't realize there's a documentary. Very sad to know Americans are down to this.

I was an idiot and once believed in American exceptionalism. No more. We as a country and society may well catalyze the next world war.
