Unusual and Paranoid Behavior of George W Bush...
The man who came to Washington promising to be a "uniter, not a divider" has been slipping and sliding from one campaign event to another bad-mouthing the Democrats. Does anyone have control over this loose cannon? Today, he was wild-eyed Elmer Gantry preaching about how the Democrats could not be "trusted" to protect this country. The man in charge when our country was attacked on 9/11 and whom everybody knows was asleep at the wheel and on vacation, is now blaming the Democrats?? I guess someone must have told him it was Bill Clinton's fault?

The desperation is as obvious as the nose on his face. No more getting over and playing dictator for Little Georgie. Finally someone will hold him accountable and there will be oversight of his criminal enterprise if the Democrats win. And he knows it. And he's running scared. He's sinking like a lead weight in Lake Pontchartrain. Don't stand too close to him. He's liable to blow any minute. If the damage wasn't already so great, I could probably relish the moment.

1. He really is losing it.
Did you see him speaking about Foley? He was even more incoherent than usual, and he seemed shaky.

5. Kentuck...don't look now..
But the bill passed last Friday by both Houses, abrogate our
IV, V, VI, VII, and VIII th. Constitutional Amendments; shattering
the Constitution and the Bill of Rights; designating dictatorial
powers to Bush.... and thats a fact!

3. Lake Pontchartrain is a perfectly creepy lake for him to sink in, too.

I grew up around there. The steps leading down to the water, the hollow underneath where drowned swimmers bodies would get sucked, the trash. That was it in the 70's anyway.

I think George Bush is insane but I'm not 100% convinced he's desperate. Now that S. 3930 has passed, he's gotten what he wants. Big-time. Get out of Jail Free, at least until (if ever) it's overturned. Before S. 3930 he was desperate, now maybe not so much. I doubt this could be overturned before he leaves office even if we have Dem majorities in the House and Senate. I guess if we have large-enough majorities, anything is possible if Congressional Democrats are willing to stand together.

I don't think so far that Congressional Democrats have really...well, given him reason to feel desperate. I'd obviously like that to change. A lot. Foley helps things along, but I was doing some casual browsing in the 2004 political time frame on DU and it doesn't appear as though strategies have become more aggressive toward Bush while the rhetoric from him and his hench-things has only increased.

4. Used to scare the crap outta me when I was a kid.
My dad would yell at me if I got too close to the water, "the undertow will get you if you fall in!" Then there were the big roaches at night crawling all over the steps... :puke:
