5 Stages of Resignation for a GOP leader
1. Resign your leadership position as speaker or majority leader--don't give up your GOP vote yet. There's still brown people to torture!

2. The heat is really on. Even a crack whore convicted of murder could beat you in an election....Resign your seat in congress.

3. Not even your golf membership can keep your shallow business associates and co-conspirators from trashing you in the dailies and at social gatherings. Resign from the local country club.

4. Prosecutor has several of your associates turn state's witness. Resign yourself to spending a few years shacking up with Bubba in Cell Block D.

5. Sit in resignation in your retirement home a broken and evil being. Resign yourself to an eternity in hell.

1. You forgot one insult to the taxpayer...
you sit in the cell block drawing your pension that should have been forfeited when you went to jail because you were in effect fired from your job.
