My wife spoke last night to her dad, who is a faithful FoxNews watcher and Rush Limbaugh repub, and when she asked him about the Foley situation, the first thing out of his mouth was that the Democrats timed this for maximum politcal impact and to make sure that it came out after it was too late to replace Foley on the ballot. My wife pointed out that the repubs didn't even tell the Democrats about it when they learned about it and that they didn't do anything themselves. There were a lot of other points she could've made as well, of course, such as the fact that even if one views CREW as a "Democratic" (as opposed to repub) organization, they didn't "sit" on the info -- they took it to the FBI in July. If they had simultaneously announced it then, they would've been condemned for undermining the investigation, blah blah blah. In short, there is absolutely no evidence that any Democrat or any liberal organization was anything other than completely above board in their handling of this -- something the repubs can't even come close to claiming.

They've been putting up Foley's name with (D-FL) beside it to dupe stupids into thinking Foley's a Dem and this is a Dem scandal. Also, to make the not quite so stupids think that this is a bi-partisan issue and Dems are JUST AS BAD (so Repukes can think that Dems are just as bad so no need to give up their loyalty to Repukes and vote for them still).

The stink of Rove is overpowering. Unfortunately, with stupids and not quite so stupids it works.

This is the ONE thing that shows absolutely without question that FAUX is an arm of the Repuke party... the most blatant propaganda worthy of Bagdad Bob.
